The 2024 Susquehanna Stumble is this Sunday, and registration is open until noon Saturday. Details at:

Is the short stumble a subset of the Long Stumble such that you can start the long but drop down to the short it if gets to be too much?
No, it is not. The Long starts with the first window, and the Short starts with the second window. The Short is doing windows 2-3-4. Even if you were willing to truncate after windows 1-4, making it a longer Short, the Short has controls at the end that are not the same sequence as the Long ending. You would have to take a control description for the Short to figure this out.
We (the timing team) would prefer that you make the decision before you start.
The meet info says courses close at 3:00, but that's what it seems to say for all QOC meets (or at least the few I glanced at) that have normal-length courses. Is it really 3:00 for the long stumble?
The Stumble has a four hour time limit with the mass start at 11 AM. Course closes at 3 PM.
